guessing at the height & weight of these guys. All are sorrels or
chestnuts except for King who is the dun/black points (zebra dun).

mare with blaze & white on two feet. Pretty nice bred bay filly with
Poco Taito & Poco Bueno on her papers. Also carries the blood of Three
Bars, Leo, Doc Olena and more. She had about 60+ rides on her as a long
yearling, early two year old but nothing since. Sound and healthy with
good feet. Vices/problems – her nose will sunburn and she can be funny
about having her mouth touched and therefore tough to worm with paste. I
put the paste on a couple cups of food and she’ll eat it up. Asking
$750.00 obo Could be bred to our APHA b/w homozygous stallion,
Holliwoods Poco Docs for $150.00 more
Sold
ZIP SKIPPED MY PAINT, aka Skip is a 2002 bay APHA
minimal white overo mare with blaze/bald right side, one blue eye/one
partial and white on two feet. Pretty well built mare that had 90+ rides
on her as a long yearling early 2 yr old but nothing since. She had a
nice WP way of moving back then. My Painted Robin, Skipsters Lad & Zippo
Pat Bars on her papers. Also carries the blood of Leo, Skipper W, Poco
Bueno, Nugget Mccue S, Bar Mount, Hank H and Oklahoma Star. Healthy but
has a crack in her R front hoof and needs to have front shoes kept on
her for now. Vice/problems – Her white nose will sunburn and therefore
can be hard to paste worm. If it gets sunburned, it’s tough to get her
to let you put anything on it. Asking $750 obo Could be bred to our APHA
b/w homozygous stallion, Holliwoods Poco Docs for $150.00 more
JET BAR BEAUTY, aka Beauty, is a 1995 chestnut
APHA BS paint mare, she is registered APHA registered but the new owner
would need to contact my sister with current photos for a replacement
set of papers and pay that fee. She is a great mom and is broke to ride
though hasn’t been ridden in a couple of years. Asking $750 obo Could be
bred to our APHA b/w homozygous stallion, Holliwoods Poco Docs for
$150.00 more.
ZIPS DREAM GIRL, aka Zip, is a 1986 sorrel AQHA
mare that is a granddaughter of Zippo Pat Bars. We have owned her since
the end of 2001 and she has been mostly a broodmare since then giving us
some beautiful babies (Zip Skipped My Paint 2002 APHA bay min. white
overo mare, Zipped in Dixie Gold 2003 palomino AQHA filly, Hotrods For
Charity 2004 bay AQHA filly and Mothers Day Jazarey a 2005 chestnut AQHA
colt). She was left open for 2006 and is in foal again for 2007 to a
gorgeous bay AQHA stallion, Beaus Hotrodder for a full sibling to
Charity. This mare used to ride well, wasn’t spooky and ALWAYS out
produces herself. Her only vice that I know of is that she will crib
without one of the cheap cribbing collars on her. As she has not been
ridden in a few years, we are selling her as broodmare sound only.
Because of this, I cannot guarantee her as riding sound but see no
reason why she should not be able to be ridden at least lightly after
this foal is weaned. Buy her with or without this foal she is carrying,
due March 20, 07 or bred back to Holliwoods Poco Docs for an ’08 foal.
Asking $2,000 negotiable depending on if you want this ’07 foal & if she
bred back to our B/W homozygous APHA stallion Holliwoods Poco Docs.
Sold
IMPRESSED BY COLOR, aka Pepper, is a nice 1984
chestnut AQHA mare sired by Color Me Skip (AQHA Champion, Superior
Halter & Western Pleasure, Res WC 3 YO Stallion, H-62, P-56) who was
Skipper W, Poco Bueno & Sugar Bars bred and a granddaughter of
Impressive. She is NN & a super well broke trained mare. She was shown
locally in halter, WP, W/T, W/T/C & I believe in her younger days & also
went to State. She’s been used as a lesson horse & been on many trail
rides. She will do about anything that is asked of her. She’s been
ridden by every beginner & novice that we’ve had here & is a favorite.
With a tune up to refresh her on her cues, leg pressure, etc., I don’t
she why she couldn’t go back and be shown lightly by a willing
youngster. We have owned her since 2002 & she will only go to the best
of homes or she can just stay. Her two vices that I know of are that she
is food aggressive (apparently somewhere in her life she had to fight
for her meals) so even if fed by herself she will pin her ears and/or
paw with a front foot. The other is that she is a very protective &
aggressive mother for the first few weeks of the foal’s life. I decided
not to rebreed her as she’s had a good life & the Good Lord willing will
have a many more years of gentle riding left in her. While I will never
say that one of my horses is 100% bomb proof or kid broke (as I am a
firm believer that as long as they are still breathing, they are still
thinking & you just never know), I will say that she is about as safe &
sound a riding horse as one could ask for. She’s a great mare so if you
have a great home for her please inquire about Pepper. We are asking
$1,500 for this special girl but that is negotiable to the right home.
